"As an artist, I see color in everything. I’m always thinking about the ratio of reds, blues and greens in every subject. Then my mind turns to lights and shadows. I use multiple mediums, acrylic, watercolor, pastel or pen and ink each with their own special textures, styles and nuances. The subject could be anything from landscapes to portraits and everything in between including farm equipment, western scenes, good times, jazz, groups of people and animals, including pet portraits.
I’m one of those constant artists who have to have some form of drawing tool in my hand at all times. Luckily my wife doesn’t mind driving so I can have the time to create."
